A new video for the Foo Fighters has surfaced, and it’s a departure for the group, detouring from their usual hilarious mini-movie style to offer a rather intimate behind-the-scenes look at life on the road interspersed with performance footage.

The clip, for the song “These Days” from the band’s Wasting Light disc, was shot on the group’s recent arena tour of Australia and New Zealand, and was helmed by prolific director Wayne Isham who has shot reels for everyone from Bon Jovi to Michael Jackson, Mötley Crüe, Britney Spears and Whitesnake.

In it, we see Dave Grohl saying goodbye to his wife and daughters before hitting the road. We then follow through several shows, backstage footage and more throughout the song’s five-odd minutes. It’s a nice change, and great eye candy for Foo fans. Check it out below.
